perimenopause: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1

PCOS Receipts ×9

I have had 15 orders now and I keep a table, so here is the honest summary rather than a vibe.

Material has been consistent. Communication has not. Shipping has varied by about 22 days on nominally the same lane, which matters more in summer than in February.

The independent number came back 99.0% against a claimed 99.1%, which I read as agreement rather than a discrepancy — inter-lab variance on this assay is a point or two either way and treating one lab as ground truth is how people end up in pointless arguments with vendors.

Batch number is in the comments. Ask if you want the method.

This is correct. PCOS is real.

Removed a chain here. The rule is one line long and it is not negotiable.

Came off after 42 weeks for financial reasons. Regained about a third over the following year. Back on now at a much lower dose.

Maintenance for 7 months now. Weight moves within about 3kg and the dose is a quarter of what it peaked at.

Maintenance for 7 months now.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 12 weeks to accept.

Slight fix: the number was 96.8, not 96.2. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

Slight fix: the number was 98.6, not 98.7. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

Adding to this: fertility is doing more work than the comment implies.

About c/glp1women

The questions the trials under-powered: PCOS and insulin resistance, cycle changes, fertility signal and contraception interactions, perimenopause and menopause weight physiology, and the fact that the pregnancy answer is always "not while trying, talk to your clinician".
