comment on is it normal to get nausea at week 85 in c/retatrutide · 15 points · 1 year ago

Yeah, phase 2 retatrutide is interesting but it is not comparable to phase 3 compounds.

comment on three years of triple agonist threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/retatrutide · 663 points · 1 year ago

Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.

comment on stalled for 8 weeks at 12.5mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/bloodwork · 433 points · 1 year ago

Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.

comment on what would you tell week-1 you about lipids in c/bloodwork · 54 points · 1 year ago

This is correct. ApoB is the better marker.

comment on anyone else notice SURMOUNT kicking in around week 80 in c/tirzepatide · 1 points · 1 year ago

SURMOUNT data is messier than STEP data but the weight loss is there

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring bloodwork at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/bloodwork · 49 points · 1 year ago

What are your reference ranges?

Edit to your parent would help — the concentration you quoted assumes one scenario and you have written another above it.

comment on [PSA] TRIUMPH is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/retatrutide · -11 points · 1 year ago

The glucagon component does different things than dual agonism. The constipation are not just amplified versions.

What was the dosing schedule in that arm?

research use only, handling and analysis, not protocols

comment on my triglycerides moved and I cannot work out whether ferritin is why in c/bloodwork · 182 points · 2 years ago

ferritin tanks quietly on a reduced appetite, check it

comment on switched from 1.0mg to 2.5mg and the fatigue got better, not worse in c/retatrutide · 6 points · 2 years ago

What was the dosing schedule in that arm?

permalink

comment on is it normal to get the food-noise thing at week 15 in c/retatrutide · 27 points · 2 years ago

The heart rate signal in TRIUMPH is real and concerning. Higher doses had higher mean HR changes.

permalink

comment on what would you tell week-1 you about baseline labs in c/bloodwork · 476 points · 2 years ago

Yeah, baseline matters more than any later number.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] dual agonist is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/tirzepatide · 43 points · 2 years ago

SURMOUNT data is messier than STEP data but the weight loss is there

permalink

comment on what changed for me between week 65 and week 13 in c/retatrutide · 1.3k points · 2 years ago

Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with phase 2, not with what you concluded.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring Zepbound at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/tirzepatide · 1 points · 2 years ago

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.

comment on retatrutide — my 13-week log, condensed into one table in c/retatrutide · 1 points · 2 years ago

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 13 weeks to accept.
