Which country? Half the answers in this thread only apply in Canada.

Small correction: the trial was 12 weeks, not 8. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again.

Adding to this: milestone is doing more work than the comment implies.

Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.

comment on dose escalation: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/retatrutide · 45 points · 1 year ago

the weight curves are unusually steep, which makes predicting individual response harder

A1c moves slowly, quarterly is plenty

Crossposting this to c/semaglutide because the people who need it are not reading this community.

Disagree on that part. 98.1% and 98.4% on the same vial is normal.

receptor distribution matters, GLP-1 is not everywhere

I am going to push back on this slightly.

comment on triple agonist is the most under-discussed thing in c/glp1uk in c/retatrutide · 1 points · 1 year ago

the dosing is steep, the muscle cramps reports are real, and nobody knows the human safety yet

This is correct. ApoB is the better marker.

My A1c went from 18 to 40 in 50 weeks. The baseline labs story shows up in the trend, not the single number.

do not editorialise in the title, put the number in the title and the opinion in the body

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.
