Confession thread, sort of. I went from 2.5mg to 1.0mg much faster than I should have because the scale had stalled and I got impatient. The stall broke about 2 weeks…

Magnesium, fibre timing, hydration, movement. In that order of impact for me.

comment on anyone else notice regain kicking in around week 90 in c/maintenancephase · 7 points · 12 months ago
nobody posts about this part and it is the longest part
Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
comment on small win: heart rate stopped being a problem at week 16 in c/sideeffects · 19 points · 1 year ago
the food-noise thing stops around week 96 for most people
comment on why does nobody talk about goal weight in c/maintenancephase · 34 points · 1 year ago
Tried the lowest-effective approach. 0.25mg worked for 18 weeks, then cravings returned. 12.5mg was the actual floor.

Regain on a taper is expected. 4% back over 16 weeks, which matches the discontinuation data. Planned for it.

the long term question changes at maintenance
comment on switched from 1.0mg to 2.5mg and the sulphur burps got better, not worse in c/sideeffects · 130 points · 1 year ago
Tracking number removed. It identifies both ends of a shipment.
comment on my A1c moved and I cannot work out whether first time is why in c/newbiequestions · 3 points · 1 year ago
Not to be pedantic but week one and basics are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

Genuine question — what concentration were you at?
comment on [Discussion] we are measuring gallbladder at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/sideeffects · 102 points · 1 year ago
Went to A&E convinced it was pancreatitis. Lipase normal. It was gallstones. Get checked, do not post and wait.

Yeah, the fatigue hit on day 5 for me too, not day 1.

My reflux was worst at 2.4mg and better at 1.7mg, which makes no sense but it is real.
I have had 5 orders now and I keep a table, so here is the honest summary rather than a vibe. Material has been consistent. Communication has not. Shipping has varied…

This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.
comment on [Question] what is — what am I missing here in c/newbiequestions · 1 points · 1 year ago
no dose recommendations for individuals, even here
Disagree on that part. 98.7% and 98.3% on the same vial is normal.
comment on genuine question about week one that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/newbiequestions · 74 points · 1 year ago
I love that this community will spend 40 comments on a detail. That pedantry is why the numbers here matter.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify sulphur burps in c/sideeffects · 90 points · 1 year ago
Resting heart rate up 13 bpm from baseline, settled back down once I stopped escalating. Tracked daily so I am confident.
comment on [Results] 82 weeks, 10kg, and long term was the hard part in c/maintenancephase · 17 points · 1 year ago
Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with maintenance, not with what you concluded.
comment on 23 months in and heart rate is still the thing I get wrong in c/sideeffects · 63 points · 1 year ago
Retitled to remove editorialising. Put the evidence in the body.
comment on basics vs what is — genuinely asking which matters more in c/newbiequestions · 93 points · 1 year ago
Strongly agree. No question is dumb here.
