formulary — 13 things I got wrong before I got it right

Question Clean Column ×5

Week 15 update. 31kg down from the start, muscle cramps basically gone since about week 55.

Things that worked: consistency, protein at breakfast, walking more than I want to. Things that did not: everything I bought on the internet to help with muscle cramps.

The part that surprised me is how much of this is admin. Ordering, storing, logging, remembering. Nobody mentions that the hard bit is not the drug, it is the routine.

Happy to answer anything. Please do not ask me what dose you should be on.

Three years on this site and the questions have not changed at all. Which is depressing or reassuring depending on the day.

Strongly agree. Provincial variation is real.

The thing nobody prepared me for was the quiet. Not the appetite, the quiet. The constant negotiation in my head about food just stopped.

This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.

Yeah, the Netherlands coverage is not the Netherlands coverage.

Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.

Strongly agree.

Adding to this: province is doing more work than the comment implies.

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

Came off after 70 weeks for financial reasons. Regained about a third over the following year. Back on now at a much lower dose.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 15 weeks to accept.
