the 503A/503B distinction is load-bearing, do not blur it

long-acting amylin is cagrilintide, different satiety profile

This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.

comment on [Caution] not approved anywhere. keep posts descriptive. in c/cagrilintide · 52 points · 21 days ago

The satiety on amylin analogs is described as physically different. GLP-1 reduces appetite noise, amylin does REDEFINE.

comment on reading API source threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/compounding · 32 points · 29 days ago

Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] API source is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/compounding · -17 points · 1 months ago

Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.

comment on [Question] Sweden — has anyone got a straight answer on amylin in c/cagrilintide · 4 points · 1 months ago

REDEFINE readouts are phase 19 data

cross-border pricing arbitrage is Canada but risky

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify amylin in c/cagrilintide · 74 points · 1 months ago

CagriSema ratios in trials are fixed, do not extrapolate self-mixing

How many weeks between the two measurements?

comment on [Meta] the 503A rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/compounding · 52 points · 1 months ago

The 503A pharmacy I used lost their shortage list eligibility. Same day, compounding became illegal. Rules are real.

comment on [Results] 90 weeks, full dose-and-weight table, ask me anything in c/progresspics · 12 points · 1 months ago

Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.

permalink

comment on anyone else notice API source kicking in around week 89 in c/compounding · 38 points · 2 months ago

the shortage list is temporary, it ends and compounding becomes illegal again

comment on unpopular opinion: PCOS is massively overrated in c/glp1women · 5 points · 3 months ago

Stalled for 17 weeks, changed nothing, and it started moving again on week 2.

comment on unpopular opinion: state board is massively overrated in c/compounding · 23 points · 4 months ago

Did they tell you their API source or dodge the question?

permalink

comment on amylin: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/cagrilintide · 4 points · 4 months ago

Strongly agree. REDEFINE is phase 24, not final.

Genuine question — what concentration were you at?
