switched from 1.0mg to 2.5mg and the sulphur burps got better, not worse

hair loss. That is the whole post, but I will justify it.

Everything else people worry about in c/glp1canada is downstream of it. Titration speed, early fullness, the endless dose arguments — most of it resolves if you sort hair loss out first, and almost nobody does.

I say this having got it wrong for 2 months. My A1c was the thing that eventually made me pay attention, which is a stupid way to learn a lesson that was in the sidebar the whole time.

Every time this gets posted it hits the front page and every time someone has to re-explain it.

Has anything else changed? Sleep, food, protein, anything?

severe abdominal pain is an urgent-care question, not a forum question

Is that before or after you stabilized your reflux?

nausea on day 2 is normal, nausea after week 51 is worth checking

replysharereportpermalink
u/ilias_cabreraOP19 points·1 year ago

Went to A&E convinced it was pancreatitis. Lipase normal. It was gallstones. Get checked, do not post and wait.

week 86 and the fatigue is finally getting better

Same experience. Week 92 and it simply stopped. I know that is not useful information but it is what happened.

early fullness at 1.7mg is different from 0.25mg

This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.

resting heart rate moved up 7 bpm and settled back down when I stopped escalating

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

the food-noise thing stops around week 43 for most people

Adding to this: heart rate is doing more work than the comment implies.

sulphur burps are disgusting but not dangerous, 6 weeks and they stopped

replysharereportpermalink
u/ilias_cabreraOP44 points·1 year ago

My fatigue was worst at 0.25mg and better at 10mg, which makes no sense but it is real.

Are you on a pen or research vial? The formulation changes the profile.

The confident tone is doing a lot of work that the evidence is not.

About c/sideeffects

Side-effect experience and management, with a strong bias toward the ones that are common and boring (nausea, constipation, reflux, fatigue, sulphur burps) and a hard line on the ones that are not (severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, jaundice, vision changes). This community is not a substitute for urgent care and the mods will say so bluntly.

c/sideeffects rules
  1. Severe or escalating abdominal pain is an urgent-care question, not a forum question. We will lock those threads with a pointer to help.
  2. Describe your dose, your week number and your titration speed — otherwise nobody can help.
  3. No diagnosing strangers. Share what happened to you.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
