nobody warned me about constipation and I would have liked the warning
Confession thread, sort of.
I went from 1.7mg to 0.25mg much faster than I should have because the scale had stalled and I got impatient. The stall broke about 22 weeks later, at which point I had no way of knowing whether the dose increase did anything or whether it would have broken anyway.
So now I have sulphur burps I did not need and a data point I cannot interpret. Two lessons in one.
Posting it in the hope that somebody at week 29 reads it before doing the same thing.
best — the order this archive was captured in
Mechanistically the bit that matters is titration. It explains most of the early profile and a decent chunk of the outcome.
Did you time the injection consistently each week or was it more ad hoc?
Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.
nope, 0.25 counts, it is just not the dose most people stay on
Ozempic versus Wegovy versus research grade is the wrong argument, they are literally the same molecule

the 2.4mg dose is not the target, it is just what the pen goes up to

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 29 weeks to accept.
Week 23 for me and the honest summary is: 22kg down, constipation manageable, and the quiet happened around week 19.
the the food-noise thing passes. i promise. not medical advice.
Tried the split-dose thing for 9 weeks. Felt slightly smoother, lost at exactly the same rate. Went back to weekly.
Hard agree. Week 39 me needed this. Week 82 me is nodding smugly.
week 33 on the pen, 17kg down, this is the answer
Kept a public log for 83 weeks. The comments are what kept it going, honestly. Accountability from strangers works.
stalled at 7.5mg, went up, and regretted it, the stall would have broken anyway

My early fullness was worst at 1.0mg and better at 1.7mg, which makes no sense and I have stopped trying to explain it.
