[Results] 51 weeks on 0.25mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring
Something I noticed reading old threads that I have not seen said out loud.
The advice on weekly dosing in this community changed substantially around the start of last year, and nobody went back and updated the older posts. So depending on which thread the search engine hands you, you get two contradictory answers with the same confidence.
I have listed what I think the current consensus is below. Correct me — that is the point of posting it.
best — the order this archive was captured in
This matches my experience almost exactly on the Ozempic pens. The titration is the whole point.
What colour is the pen? Wegovy and Ozempic use different formulations.
the quiet is real. the food noise just stops.
the 2.4mg dose is not the target, it is just what the pen goes up to
No. This is the kind of confident post that gets copied into a screenshot and repeated for years. Where is the evidence.
week 42 and i am still not at maintenance, do not rush the ladder
You have restated the marketing copy. What is the actual substance here.
Every time this gets posted it hits the front page and every time someone has to re-explain it.
Hard agree. Week 8 me needed this. Week 86 me is nodding smugly.
my triglycerides moved before the scale did and i nearly missed it
titration speed is food noise plus side effects, period

The thing nobody prepared me for was that the appetite does not come back for a long time after you stop.
Ozempic versus Wegovy versus research grade is the wrong argument, they are literally the same molecule
Did anything else change in the same window? Sleep, protein, steps, anything?
Cosigning. The slow route gets the outcome, the fast route gets you the side effects.
What colour is the pen? Wegovy and Ozempic use different formulations.
the 2.4mg dose is not the target, it is just what the pen goes up to
okay but what dose of sema are you on
the 2.4mg dose is not the target, it is just what the pen goes up to
Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
Strongly agree. If it is not working at 12.5mg after 73 weeks, going up is not automatically the answer.
my ALT moved before the scale did and i nearly missed it
week 67 and i am still not at maintenance, do not rush the ladder
okay but what dose of sema are you on
Edit to your parent would help — the concentration you quoted assumes one scenario and you have written another above it.
Hard agree. Week 16 me needed this. Week 62 me is nodding smugly.
my eGFR moved before the scale did and i nearly missed it
Small correction: the trial was 9 weeks, not 26. Does not change your point but people will quote it.
Did you time the injection consistently each week or was it more ad hoc?
pens are overpriced, research vials are research grade, same molecule different price
