ATTAIN: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1

Discussion

Right, the oral GLP-1 question again, but with numbers this time.

I have 5 data points over 40 weeks. The pattern is consistent enough that I do not think it is chance, and boring enough that nobody is going to screenshot it, which is usually a good sign.

The thing I would flag for anyone new: the effect I am describing showed up at week 44, not week 93. People give up long before the interesting part.

Interested in whether this matches other people's logs or whether I am an outlier.

Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.

Edit to your parent would help — the concentration you quoted assumes one scenario and you have written another above it.

No. This is the kind of confident post that gets copied into a screenshot and repeated for years. Where is the evidence.

Not to be pedantic but orforglipron and ATTAIN are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

Strongly agree. The supply impact would be huge.

Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.

Week 87 for me and the honest summary is: 45kg down, the food-noise thing manageable, and I have thought about food maybe four times today.

About c/orforglipron

The small-molecule oral: why a non-peptide agonist escapes the absorption problems of oral semaglutide, what the ATTAIN and ACHIEVE readouts showed, and what a pill with no refrigeration requirement would do to the entire supply conversation this site is built around.
