[Question] dose stretching — what am I missing here
Long-ish post, sorry. tl;dr at the bottom.
I have been tracking maintenance against ApoB for 29 weeks because I could not find anyone who had. The correlation is weaker than I expected, which is itself mildly interesting given how confidently people link the two in here.
Caveats up front: one person, one lab, one assay, no control, and I changed my training in the middle of it, which was stupid.
tl;dr: probably real, definitely smaller than the threads imply, and not worth reorganising your week around.
best — the order this archive was captured in
Tracking number removed. It identifies both ends of a shipment.
Yeah, maintenance is the boring part and the important part.
Regain on a taper is expected. 22% back over 10 weeks, which matches the discontinuation data. Planned for it.
the lowest dose you can stay on is not the lowest dose that works
the lowest dose you can stay on is not the lowest dose that works
Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
state how long you have been at maintenance, week 11 is not maintenance
Tried the lowest-effective approach. 7.5mg worked for 24 weeks, then cravings returned. 10mg was the actual floor.
Tried the lowest-effective approach.
Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 24 weeks to accept.
Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.
the lowest dose you can stay on is not the lowest dose that works
Weight variance within what range?
I am going to push back on this slightly.
regain after taper is expected, plan for it
regain is not a moral failing
weight moves within 13kg and that is normal
Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with long term, not with what you concluded.
Regain on a taper is expected. 24% back over 15 weeks, which matches the discontinuation data. Planned for it.
