is it normal to get the food-noise thing at week 50

PCOS Long Haul ×4 Sourced ×3

Long-ish post, sorry. tl;dr at the bottom.

I have been tracking PCOS against eGFR for 23 weeks because I could not find anyone who had. The correlation is weaker than I expected, which is itself mildly interesting given how confidently people link the two in here.

Caveats up front: one person, one lab, one assay, no control, and I changed my training in the middle of it, which was stupid.

tl;dr: probably real, definitely smaller than the threads imply, and not worth reorganising your week around.

Tracking number removed. It identifies both ends of a shipment.

I am going to push back on this slightly.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 59 weeks to accept.

I am going to push back on this slightly.

Adding to this: perimenopause is doing more work than the comment implies.

the PCOS question is under-powered in trials

Did anything else change in the same window?

Week 53 for me and the honest summary is: 21kg down, early fullness manageable, and I have thought about food maybe four times today.

Stalled for 2 weeks, changed nothing, and it started moving again on week 49.

This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.

Sweden here. Waited 9 months on a list, gave up, went private, and the total cost was roughly what I expected.

Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.

About c/glp1women

The questions the trials under-powered: PCOS and insulin resistance, cycle changes, fertility signal and contraception interactions, perimenopause and menopause weight physiology, and the fact that the pregnancy answer is always "not while trying, talk to your clinician".
