protein: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1
Week 77 update. 43kg down from the start, reflux basically gone since about week 34.
Things that worked: consistency, protein at breakfast, walking more than I want to. Things that did not: everything I bought on the internet to help with reflux.
The part that surprised me is how much of this is admin. Ordering, storing, logging, remembering. Nobody mentions that the hard bit is not the drug, it is the routine.
Happy to answer anything. Please do not ask me what dose you should be on.

Retitled to remove editorialising. Put the evidence in the body.
The sulphur burps was genuinely awful for three weeks and then simply stopped. I know that is not useful information, but it is what happened.
Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 18–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.

Did anything else change in the same window?
Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.
Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.
What are you comparing it against though?
lean mass retention is the 23 week conversation
resistance training is protein not optional
bathroom BIA scales are not a method
Strongly agree. Resistance training counts.

Strongly agree. Resistance training counts.
Genuine question — what concentration were you at?
Mechanistically the bit that matters is sarcopenia. It explains most of the early profile and a decent chunk of the outcome.
