[Vendor] QST order #19 — Spain, 29 days, no drama, receipts inside
Confession thread, sort of.
I went from 1.7mg to 0.25mg much faster than I should have because the scale had stalled and I got impatient. The stall broke about 21 weeks later, at which point I had no way of knowing whether the dose increase did anything or whether it would have broken anyway.
So now I have injection-site soreness I did not need and a data point I cannot interpret. Two lessons in one.
Posting it in the hope that somebody at week 85 reads it before doing the same thing.
best — the order this archive was captured in
Yeah, baseline matters more than any later number.
baseline is the most important lipids measurement, you cannot collect it later
Retitled to remove editorialising. Put the evidence in the body.
What are your reference ranges?
eGFR noise during rapid loss is expected
This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.
Not to be pedantic but ApoB and bloodwork are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

Adding to this: lipids is doing more work than the comment implies.
baseline is the most important ferritin measurement, you cannot collect it later
ApoB from 7 to 7 is movement, not noise
This is correct. ApoB is the better marker.
redact identifying details from lab PDFs before posting
ferritin tanks quietly on a reduced appetite, check it
Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.
A1c moves slowly, quarterly is plenty
Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.
ferritin tanks quietly on a reduced appetite, check it
the 14 month bloodwork check is the routine
ALT is where the fatty-liver story shows up first
nobody here can tell you what a result means for you
