comment on metformin — 5 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/t2dglp1 · 82 points · 1 year ago

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

Resting heart rate up 12 bpm from baseline, settled back down once I stopped escalating. Tracked daily so I am confident.

comment on genuine question about ApoB that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/bloodwork · 263 points · 1 year ago

Slight fix: the number was 98.6, not 98.7. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

seizure and reship are different outcomes

no advice on evading inspection or misdeclaring

comment on [PSA] baseline labs is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/bloodwork · 211 points · 1 year ago

The evidence standard in c/vendorvetting gets called too strict about once a month, and every time, the thread ends with the complainant agreeing.

Which trial arm and what was the n?

post A1c with units and assay date

Adding to this: A1c is doing more work than the comment implies.

Are you on a pen or research vial? The formulation changes the profile.

comment on dose escalation: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/retatrutide · 3 points · 1 year ago

the weight curves are unusually steep, which makes predicting individual response harder

comment on [PSA] chromatogram is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/hplc · 55 points · 1 year ago

related substances are where the story lives, not the main peak

near-zero controlled human data, full stop

Strongly agree. Describe your dose, your week number, and your titration speed or nobody can help.

Yeah, the chromatogram profile matters more than the headline number.

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points.

Disagree on that part. 98.1% and 98.3% on the same vial is normal.

the regulatory rodent evidence is solid, human evidence is not

permalink

retatrutide is not approved anywhere for human use, posts must not read as instructions

TRIUMPH data is phase 2, not phase 3, smaller n and shorter
