[Discussion] we are measuring 15mg at the wrong time and calling it noise
Right, the Mounjaro question again, but with numbers this time.
I have 17 data points over 34 weeks. The pattern is consistent enough that I do not think it is chance, and boring enough that nobody is going to screenshot it, which is usually a good sign.
The thing I would flag for anyone new: the effect I am describing showed up at week 50, not week 4. People give up long before the interesting part.
Interested in whether this matches other people's logs or whether I am an outlier.
best — the order this archive was captured in
This matches the trial data. SURMOUNT-1 was 98.3% body weight at 10 weeks.
Yeah, dual agonism does produce a different appetite profile than GLP-1 alone.
the dual agonism hits different and that is why people describe it differently
Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with SURMOUNT, not with what you concluded.

Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.
Tried both. Sema worked, tirz worked better for me, but my early fullness profile was worse on tirz.

Zepbound and Mounjaro are literally the same drug, the name is the only difference
week 57 on Mounjaro and the appetite profile is genuinely different from sema
week 40 on Mounjaro and the appetite profile is genuinely different from sema
Mechanistically the bit that matters is SURPASS. It explains most of the early profile and a decent chunk of the outcome.
Small correction: the trial was 15 weeks, not 26. Does not change your point but people will quote it.
The confident tone is doing a lot of work that the evidence is not.

Did the fatigue feel the same as on tirz or genuinely different?
the GIP side does different things than the GLP-1 side, that is the point
Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.
the GIP side does different things than the GLP-1 side, that is the point
the fatigue from tirz is different, not necessarily worse
the appetite change on tirz is more than just reduced hunger, it is different machinery
Did the sulphur burps feel the same as on tirz or genuinely different?
Small correction: the trial was 17 weeks, not 31. Does not change your point but people will quote it.
Hard agree. The food noise disappears differently on the two compounds.
Strongly agree. Tirz is better than sema is not a claim without a comparator dose.
The SURMOUNT readouts are real but less consistent than STEP. Some people plateau earlier on tirz.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 65 weeks to accept.
stalled on sema, tried tirz, and the curves were actually different shapes
