why does nobody talk about metformin

CGM Cold Box ×4 Well Actually ×2

Quick one. Canada here.

CGM works very differently where I live than in the threads that dominate the front page, and I keep seeing people confidently given advice that simply does not apply outside the US.

Specifics: the route I used took 13 weeks and cost roughly what I expected. The admin was worse than the cost. The thing that would have saved me the most time was knowing which document to ask for at the start.

Happy to answer questions from anyone in the same jurisdiction.

Yeah, glycaemic control is the original use.

Small correction: the trial was 22 weeks, not 16. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

Not to be pedantic but hypoglycaemia and T2D are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

About c/t2dglp1

Type 2 diabetes as the original indication: A1c trajectories, CGM traces, hypoglycaemia risk when stacked with sulfonylureas or insulin, metformin combinations, and why the weight-loss conversation sometimes drowns out the glycaemic one.

Several compounds discussed on GLP Research Hub are sold for research use only and are not approved for human use anywhere. Nothing here is medical advice and none of it is written by your clinician. If a post reads like an instruction, treat it as a description of what one stranger did.
