Spain: Wegovy, and what it actually costs here
Been lurking in c/dosinglogs for about 23 months and finally have something worth posting.
Short version: week 83, 0.25mg, and titration is the bit I still cannot get a straight answer on. I have read the wiki, I have read the last 29 threads, and the answers split roughly down the middle.
What I actually want to know is whether the people saying it does not matter have measured it, or whether it is just repeated confidently. Happy to be told I am overthinking this — I probably am — but I would rather overthink it now than at week 77.
best — the order this archive was captured in
the constipation passes. i promise. not medical advice.
the constipation passes.
Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.
week 69 on the pen, 42kg down, this is the answer
week 63 and i am still not at maintenance, do not rush the ladder
The confident tone is doing a lot of work that the evidence is not.
Hard agree. Week 24 me needed this. Week 79 me is nodding smugly.
week 30 on the pen, 7kg down, this is the answer
This is what I tell everyone in c/newbiequestions and they never believe me until week 68.
Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.
Went up because the scale stalled, not because I needed to. Do not be me. The stall broke on its own at the higher dose.
Hard agree. Week 80 me needed this. Week 49 me is nodding smugly.
titration speed is Ozempic plus side effects, period
Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.
week 15 on the pen, 35kg down, this is the answer
the 2.4mg dose is not the target, it is just what the pen goes up to
pens are overpriced, research vials are research grade, same molecule different price
my eGFR moved before the scale did and i nearly missed it
Tried the split-dose thing for 15 weeks. Felt slightly smoother, lost at exactly the same rate. Went back to weekly.
stalled at 0.5mg, went up, and regretted it, the stall would have broken anyway
Lost 10kg and gained a genuinely irritating amount of interest in analytical chemistry. This site did that to me.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 85 weeks to accept.
nope, 0.25 counts, it is just not the dose most people stay on
Ozempic versus Wegovy versus research grade is the wrong argument, they are literally the same molecule
Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.

Flair changed to match the content. Read the sidebar before posting next time and we are square.

Cosigning. The slow route gets the outcome, the fast route gets you the side effects.
