week 51 check-in — 12kg down, injection-site soreness manageable, one thing confusing me

Discussion Cold Box ×9 Slow Clap ×1

Been lurking in c/progresspics for about 24 months and finally have something worth posting.

Short version: week 56, 1.7mg, and TRIUMPH is the bit I still cannot get a straight answer on. I have read the wiki, I have read the last 21 threads, and the answers split roughly down the middle.

What I actually want to know is whether the people saying it does not matter have measured it, or whether it is just repeated confidently. Happy to be told I am overthinking this — I probably am — but I would rather overthink it now than at week 50.

Titration speed is a side-effect dial far more than an efficacy dial.

triple agonism is triple agonist, do not generalise

TRIUMPH phase 2 showed 99.0% weight loss but the reflux profile on the highest arm was rough. Phase 2 != phase 3.

TRIUMPH phase 2 showed 99.0% weight loss but the reflux profile on the highest arm was rough.

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

This is correct. Triple agonism is genuinely different.

TRIUMPH data is phase 2, not phase 3, smaller n and shorter

the glucagon component changes the side effect profile, not just the efficacy

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 70 weeks to accept.

Research use material only, no human-use approval anywhere. Posts must describe what happened, not instruct strangers.

About c/retatrutide

Retatrutide: GIP/GLP-1/glucagon triple agonism, the TRIUMPH programme, and the fact that most people discussing it are handling research-grade material with no human-use approval anywhere. Dose-response, heart-rate signal, and the unusually steep phase-2 weight curves get argued about here weekly.

Several compounds discussed on GLP Research Hub are sold for research use only and are not approved for human use anywhere. Nothing here is medical advice and none of it is written by your clinician. If a post reads like an instruction, treat it as a description of what one stranger did.
