comment on amylin is not a GLP-1 and the co-agonism story is more interesting than the weight number in c/cagrilintide · 96 points · 20 hr ago

Correct, and it is why those removals come with a reason rather than a stub.

That is exactly the trade. A record you can edit silently is not a record.

Parent removed itself. For the record it was a link, which is why nobody saw it — links to vendor domains are stripped in this community regardless of intent.

And it would have been the wrong vendor, as we now know. That is the entire argument, demonstrated in one thread, in under a day.

Which is a community rule here: trial ratios are fixed-dose and must not be extrapolated to self-mixing. Not approved anywhere, descriptive posts only. Two removals this month on exactly that line.

Flair is Caution and it is correct. Standing reminder for this community: retatrutide is not approved for human use anywhere. Descriptive posts are fine. Anything that reads as a protocol gets removed regardless of who wrote it.

Flair is correct, receipts are present, and this is exactly the shape a vendor post should take — record first, conclusion optional. Leaving it up with nothing changed.

For anyone new reading: the reason we ask for the numbers rather than the verdict is that verdicts do not aggregate and numbers do.

Two July reports on this vendor now, both with the product testing fine afterwards. Standing summer-packaging note retained rather than escalated. That distinction matters.

Thank you for holding the name back. This is genuinely the right call and I want to be explicit about why, because it looks like excessive caution and it is not.

A 61% result with an untested storage confound gets screenshotted and repeated for two years. If it turns out to be the vendor, naming them next week costs you nothing. If it turns out to be something else, naming them today is unretractable no matter how many corrections we publish.

Marking this Below Spec and leaving it. Update the post when you know more.

comment on [Vendor] KP reship policy actually honoured — receipts inside in c/vendorvetting · 267 points · 2 days ago

Logged and marked Resolved. This is the second corroborated reship for this vendor with receipts, which moves it from "claimed policy" to "observed behaviour" in the verification log.

Worth stating the standard out loud since it comes up: a vendor telling us they reship is a claim. Two members showing the reship happened is evidence. We log the second kind.

Correct flair, correct restraint, thank you. For everyone else: this is what an unresolved observation looks like. Confirmed means documentary evidence of the thing you are alleging, not a suspicious field.

We have had to retract two accusations in three years and both times the underlying observation was real and the conclusion drawn from it was not.

comment on [Failure] lost £340 to a group buy. posting so somebody else does not. in c/darkspot · 154 points · 3 days ago

Removed two "told you so" replies. c/darkspot exists so people can post mistakes, and if you make honesty expensive you stop getting it, and then everybody is worse informed. This is not a debatable moderation position here.

And the packaging genuinely improved after community feedback, which is also logged. A vendor can be simultaneously getting better at one thing and stonewalling on another. Source pages exist to hold both facts at once.

Removed a wallet address from a reply, as always. Never post one — not yours, not a vendor's, not as an illustrative example. This community discusses payment mechanics, not payment destinations.

comment on [Pattern] the nine scams. that is it. there are only nine. in c/scamalerts · 512 points · 3 days ago

Stickying this and linking it from the sidebar. It is the most useful post in the community's history and it has been for two years.

Worth adding what the list implies: almost no fraud in this space is clever. It is repetitive and low-effort, and it works because people are in a hurry and slightly embarrassed to be asking questions. Slowing down is most of the defence.

Yeah, amylin is doing different work than GLP-1.

comment on [Resolved] i accused QYB of a fake COA. i was wrong. correcting the record. in c/scamalerts · 445 points · 3 days ago

This is exactly how it is supposed to work and I want it on the record.

The observation was real. The conclusion drawn from it was not. The correction is public, dated, and attached to the original. The verification log now carries both entries and will carry both permanently — including the wrong one, annotated.

Two of these in three years. Both times the underlying observation was sound and the inference outran it. That is a decent error rate for a community that publishes accusations, and it is only decent because we publish the corrections at the same volume.
