why does nobody talk about lowest effective dose

Regain Well Actually ×3 Clean Column ×1 Cold Box ×1

Quick one. Denmark here.

long term works very differently where I live than in the threads that dominate the front page, and I keep seeing people confidently given advice that simply does not apply outside the US.

Specifics: the route I used took 17 weeks and cost roughly what I expected. The admin was worse than the cost. The thing that would have saved me the most time was knowing which document to ask for at the start.

Happy to answer questions from anyone in the same jurisdiction.

Mechanistically the bit that matters is goal weight. It explains most of the early profile and a decent chunk of the outcome.

Maintenance for 18 months now. 5mg every 12 days, weight 25±18kg. Found the rhythm.

Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.

Strongly agree. Lowest effective dose is a real discovery process.

What dose are you on?

What dose are you on?

Adding to this: dose stretching is doing more work than the comment implies.

Did you stretch the dose interval?

regain is not a moral failing

regain is not a moral failing

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

the plateau is where the learning happens

Tried the lowest-effective approach. 7.5mg worked for 6 weeks, then cravings returned. 12.5mg was the actual floor.

About c/maintenancephase

The part nobody posts about: what happens at goal weight. Finding a lowest effective dose, dose-interval stretching, regain risk data, muscle retention, the psychology of not having a number to chase, and staying on indefinitely versus tapering.

c/maintenancephase rules
  1. State how long you have been at maintenance. "Maintenance" at week 30 is not maintenance.
  2. Regain is not a moral failing and posts implying it is get removed.
  3. Dose-stretching experiences welcome; dose-stretching instructions are not.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
