comment on [Appeal] the external review process nobody tells you exists in c/insurancefights · 3 points · 4 days ago

Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with step therapy, not with what you concluded.

comment on [Explainer] evidence levels: in vitro, rodent, human. say which one you mean. in c/researchpeptides · 1 points · 7 days ago

Which country?

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

comment on why does everyone say week 4 is the wall in c/semaglutide · 1 points · 11 days ago

Every time this gets posted it hits the front page and every time someone has to re-explain it.

Disagree on that part. 98.4% and 98.3% on the same vial is normal.

the maintenance question changes at maintenance

state how long you have been at maintenance, week 2 is not maintenance

comment on [Question] do you tell new people how long this actually is in c/maintenancephase · 6 points · 1 months ago

Did you stretch the dose interval?

comment on [Meta] the hypoglycaemia rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/t2dglp1 · 11 points · 1 months ago

This is correct. Hypo risk is real.

comment on why does nobody talk about handling in c/researchpeptides · 2 points · 1 months ago

The thing nobody prepared me for was the quiet.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 53 weeks to accept.

comment on clothes fit the same for 14 months and it is genuinely strange in c/maintenancephase · 99 points · 1 months ago

Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.

the 1.0mg dose works fine for 47 weeks of the month

Not to be pedantic but Wegovy and food noise are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

comment on 20 months in and A1c is still the thing I get wrong in c/t2dglp1 · 28 points · 2 months ago

type 2 is the indication, weight loss is the side effect

comment on week 16 check-in — 17kg down, fatigue manageable, one thing confusing me in c/semaglutide · 0 points · 2 months ago

This matches my experience almost exactly on the Ozempic pens. The titration is the whole point.

comment on genuine question about lowest effective dose that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/maintenancephase · 57 points · 2 months ago

Tried the lowest-effective approach. 7.5mg worked for 2 weeks, then cravings returned. 0.5mg was the actual floor.

comment on what would you tell week-1 you about glycaemic control in c/t2dglp1 · 2 points · 2 months ago

Strongly agree. A1c matters as much as weight.

redact member ids and group numbers from every screenshot

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

comment on [Results] 51 weeks on 2.4mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/t2dglp1 · 94 points · 3 months ago

Rodent data is rodent data. Dose scaling is not linear and the models tell you what to investigate, not what to expect.
