perimenopause — 12 things I got wrong before I got it right

Question Cold Box ×2 Slow Clap ×3

Been lurking in c/labresults for about 24 months and finally have something worth posting.

Short version: week 77, 12.5mg, and fertility is the bit I still cannot get a straight answer on. I have read the wiki, I have read the last 35 threads, and the answers split roughly down the middle.

What I actually want to know is whether the people saying it does not matter have measured it, or whether it is just repeated confidently. Happy to be told I am overthinking this — I probably am — but I would rather overthink it now than at week 83.

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.

Did anything else change in the same window?

About c/glp1women

The questions the trials under-powered: PCOS and insulin resistance, cycle changes, fertility signal and contraception interactions, perimenopause and menopause weight physiology, and the fact that the pregnancy answer is always "not while trying, talk to your clinician".

Before you read on

Several compounds discussed on GLP Research Hub are sold for research use only and are not approved for human use anywhere. Nothing here is medical advice and none of it is written by your clinician. If a post reads like an instruction, treat it as a description of what one stranger did.
