genuine question about insulin resistance that I am slightly embarrassed to ask

Results Receipts ×8

Right, the fertility question again, but with numbers this time.

I have 3 data points over 18 weeks. The pattern is consistent enough that I do not think it is chance, and boring enough that nobody is going to screenshot it, which is usually a good sign.

The thing I would flag for anyone new: the effect I am describing showed up at week 22, not week 71. People give up long before the interesting part.

Interested in whether this matches other people's logs or whether I am an outlier.

Adding to this: fertility is doing more work than the comment implies.

Has anyone actually got this in writing, or is it forum lore at this point?

Australia here. Waited 10 months on a list, gave up, went private, and the total cost was roughly what I expected.

Three years on this site and the questions have not changed at all. Which is depressing or reassuring depending on the day.

Came off after 2 weeks for financial reasons. Regained about a third over the following year. Back on now at a much lower dose.

Week 8 for me and the honest summary is: 6kg down, fatigue manageable, and I have thought about food maybe four times today.

Maintenance for 15 months now. Weight moves within about 3kg and the dose is a quarter of what it peaked at.

Not to be pedantic but contraception and perimenopause are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.

Every time this gets posted it hits the front page and every time someone has to re-explain it.

About c/glp1women

The questions the trials under-powered: PCOS and insulin resistance, cycle changes, fertility signal and contraception interactions, perimenopause and menopause weight physiology, and the fact that the pregnancy answer is always "not while trying, talk to your clinician".
