batch vs related substances — genuinely asking which matters more
Long-ish post, sorry. tl;dr at the bottom. I have been tracking area percent against ApoB for 31 weeks because I could not find anyone who had. The correlation is weaker than I expected, which is itself mildly interesting given how confidently people link the two in here. Caveats up front: one person, one lab, one…
Sent one vial to PeptideMeter and VendorInvestigate. 98.4% and 99.0%. Cost me more than the vial did and I would do it again.

area% is not mass%, and here is exactly why it matters
Batch number and date of analysis? Both are load-bearing.
chromatogram or it did not happen
Slight fix: the number was 97.6, not 98.9. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.
