comment on [Question] New Zealand — has anyone got a straight answer on dose escalation in c/retatrutide · 153 points · 1 year ago

The heart rate signal in TRIUMPH is real and concerning. Higher doses had higher mean HR changes.

the 15mg arm is different from 12.5mg, results do not transfer

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

eGFR from 14 to 5 is movement, not noise

comment on [Results] 2 weeks, 11kg, and glucagon was the hard part in c/retatrutide · 6 points · 1 year ago

the weight curves are unusually steep, which makes predicting individual response harder

Group buy used escrow. 21 people, 35 shipped without drama. Escrow is the insurance.

Did you actually measure heart rate or is that a feeling?

comment on triple agonist: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/retatrutide · 2 points · 2 years ago

Slight fix: the number was 96.2, not 96.8. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

nobody should be giving this to anyone without extensive monitoring

Dose escalation on retatrutide is steeper and faster than on semaglutide.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 4 weeks to accept.

Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.

This is correct. Gas fees are real costs.

research use only, handling and analysis, not protocols

Disagree on that part. 96.8% and 96.2% on the same vial is normal.

Titration speed is a side-effect dial far more than an efficacy dial.

triple agonism plus glucagon is a different physiological state than GIP/GLP-1 dual

the glucagon component changes the side effect profile, not just the efficacy
