the VendorInvestigate thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down

Resolved Well Actually ×3 Cold Box ×1

Something I noticed reading old threads that I have not seen said out loud.

The advice on testing in this community changed substantially around the start of last year, and nobody went back and updated the older posts. So depending on which thread the search engine hands you, you get two contradictory answers with the same confidence.

I have listed what I think the current consensus is below. Correct me — that is the point of posting it.

Every time this gets posted it hits the front page and every time someone has to re-explain it.

Cosigning the evidence standard. Receipts make the community.

Did you test the vial you received or are we going off the vendor COA?

Disagree on that part. 95.1% and 97.6% on the same vial is normal.

This order history matches mine almost exactly. Same vendor, same timeframe, same result.

First order from WWB was great, second one had a different batch and tested lower. The vendor retested and credited me. Logged it here.

the reship rate on QST is actually pretty consistent

positive and negative reports both need the same evidence standard

Is that a VendorInvestigate result or are you quoting the vendor COA?

Titration speed is a side-effect dial far more than an efficacy dial.

Batch number? Date? Method? Give us the load-bearing fields.

I love that this community will spend 40 comments on a detail. That pedantry is why the numbers here matter.

Tracking number removed. It identifies both ends of a shipment.

About c/vendorvetting

The community due-diligence desk. Vendor experiences, independent third-party test results, shipping and reship records, and the boring paperwork that separates a supplier from a story. Every substantive claim is expected to carry a receipt: an order id, a dated screenshot, or a test report from Janoshik, Medutest, PeptideMeter or VendorInvestigate.

c/vendorvetting rules
  1. One vendor per post. Multi-vendor comparisons go in the monthly comparison thread.
  2. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Zero tolerance, permanent ban.
  3. Positive and negative reports both need the same evidence standard: order date, product, and what was tested.
  4. Vendor staff must self-identify. Undisclosed vendor accounts are banned on sight.
  5. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  6. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  7. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  8. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  9. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  10. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.
