why does nobody talk about regain

Question Sourced ×7 Slow Clap ×3

appetite return. That is the whole post, but I will justify it.

Everything else people worry about in c/coa is downstream of it. Titration speed, reflux, the endless dose arguments — most of it resolves if you sort appetite return out first, and almost nobody does.

I say this having got it wrong for 7 months. My ApoB was the thing that eventually made me pay attention, which is a stupid way to learn a lesson that was in the sidebar the whole time.

Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 5–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.

interval stretching versus dose reduction

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

STEP 1 and SURMOUNT-4 discontinuation arms show regain

This is correct. Discontinuation data is real.

Tracking number removed. It identifies both ends of a shipment.

Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.

appetite return timelines vary appetite return

Maintenance for 7 months now. Weight moves within about 3kg and the dose is a quarter of what it peaked at.

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

Small correction: the trial was 8 weeks, not 34. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

Yeah, regain is not a failure.

Slight fix: the number was 98.4, not 98.3. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

tapering instructions are not welcome here

No. This is the kind of confident post that gets copied into a screenshot and repeated for years. Where is the evidence.

Strongly agree. The regain is expected.

Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.

About c/tapering

Stopping on purpose: dose reduction versus interval stretching, what the discontinuation arms of STEP 1 and SURMOUNT-4 actually showed about regain, appetite return timelines, and the people who came off, regained, and went back on without treating it as a failure.
