19 months in and hepatic fat is still the thing I get wrong
Been lurking in c/t2dglp1 for about 23 months and finally have something worth posting.
Short version: week 7, 1.7mg, and hepatic fat is the bit I still cannot get a straight answer on. I have read the wiki, I have read the last 29 threads, and the answers split roughly down the middle.
What I actually want to know is whether the people saying it does not matter have measured it, or whether it is just repeated confidently. Happy to be told I am overthinking this — I probably am — but I would rather overthink it now than at week 96.
best — the order this archive was captured in
hepatic fat and survodutide are the story
Every time this gets posted it hits the front page and every time someone has to re-explain it.

The thing nobody prepared me for was the quiet. Not the appetite, the quiet. The constant negotiation in my head about food just stopped.
Strongly agree. The safety story is separate.
Strongly agree.
Disagree on that part. 95.1% and 97.6% on the same vial is normal.
Crossposting this to c/t2dglp1 because the people who need it are not reading this community.

the GLP-1/glucagon dual is glucagon, different from GIP/GLP-1
glucagon co-agonism has a different safety story
glucagon injection is a different vector than GLP-1
glucagon co-agonism has a different safety story
Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 57 weeks to accept.
Phase 19 or 32?
This is correct. Do not generalise from tirzepatide.
the MASH indication changes the risk calculus
Yeah, glucagon co-agonism is genuinely different.
