Labbranch of 13 comments

Genuinely asking, not being difficult. Everyone in c/scamalerts repeats that COA is important. I believe it, but I have never seen anyone show why, and when I search I get 12 threads of people agreeing with each other. Is there a paper? Is there a measurement? Or is this one of those things that is true because it…

Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 6–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.

no "is this good?" without saying what the compound and claimed purity are

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

Asked WXT for the batch-specific COA and they sent it within six hours, full document, batch number, date, everything. That is the baseline.

area% is not mass%, and here is exactly why it matters

Disagree on that part. 98.4% and 98.3% on the same vial is normal.

About c/coa

How to read a certificate of analysis and what it does and does not tell you. Area% versus mass%, identity versus quantity, water content, related substances, acetate counterions, and the difference between a vendor-supplied COA and an independent test on the vial you actually received.

c/coa rules
  1. Post the full document. Cropped COAs that hide the batch number or date get removed.
  2. Redact your own name and order id, not the vendor's batch details.
  3. No "is this good?" without saying what the compound and claimed purity are.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  9. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.
