evidence-level statements required: in vitro, rodent, or human

Yeah, rodent data does not scale to humans.

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about network until somebody posts a number in c/cryptopay · 81 points · 1 year ago

Removed a chain here. The rule is one line long and it is not negotiable.

comment on [Discussion] the moderation advice in here is 9 years out of date in c/meta · 47 points · 1 year ago

The early fullness was genuinely awful for three weeks and then simply stopped. I know that is not useful information, but it is what happened.

comment on [Discussion] chargeback is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/cryptopay · 11 points · 1 year ago

This is correct. Gas fees are real costs.

Retitled to remove editorialising. Put the evidence in the body.

regain on taper is expected, plan for it

comment on France: meta, and what it actually costs here in c/meta · 51 points · 1 year ago

Which country? Half the answers in this thread only apply in France.

comment on purity — 8 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/hplc · 4 points · 1 year ago

Injection volume and flow rate? Those affect resolution.

Yeah, the evidence standard works.

comment on genuine question about New Zealand that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/glp1aus · 102 points · 1 year ago

Mechanistically the bit that matters is New Zealand. It explains most of the early profile and a decent chunk of the outcome.

the gradient is doing the separation work, not the column alone

comment on what would you tell week-1 you about rodent data in c/bpc157 · 58 points · 1 year ago

Strongly agree. Zero human controlled data.

no group-buy recruitment, discussing how they fail is fine

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring T2D at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/t2dglp1 · 1 points · 1 year ago

Slight fix: the number was 99.2, not 99.1. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

Rodent data is rodent data. Dose scaling is not linear and the models tell you what to investigate, not what to expect.

comment on does BPC-157 actually matter or is it forum lore at this point in c/bpc157 · 58 points · 1 year ago

Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.

the periodic argument about meta standards

comment on [PSA] chromatogram is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/hplc · 3 points · 1 year ago

two labs, two different baselines, two different purity numbers, both honest

comment on [Question] Australia — has anyone got a straight answer on interval stretching in c/tapering · 530 points · 1 year ago

My version of this: I was so worried about the injection that I put it off for eleven days. The injection is the easiest part.
