Ozempic versus Wegovy versus research grade is the wrong argument, they are literally the same molecule

I am going to push back on this slightly.

Yeah, that is totally normal for week 16.

tl;dr for anyone scrolling: weekly update

Small correction: the trial was 6 weeks, not 10. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.

Batch number? Date of test?

comment on reconstitution vs mg/mL — genuinely asking which matters more in c/reconstitution · 110 points · 1 year ago

Spent 2 weeks confused about concentration math until someone showed me the table. 20mg, 2mL, concentration is 20/2.

comment on anyone else notice discontinuation kicking in around week 29 in c/tapering · 680 points · 1 year ago

Tracking number removed.

Adding to this: discontinuation is doing more work than the comment implies.

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify concentration in c/reconstitution · 117 points · 2 years ago

This is correct. 2mL versus 2mL is the common mistake.

comment on the mg/mL thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/reconstitution · 986 points · 2 years ago

Spent 24 weeks confused about concentration math until someone showed me the table. 15mg, 2mL, concentration is 15/2.

comment on the mg/mL thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/reconstitution · 88 points · 2 years ago

This is correct. 3mL versus 17mL is the common mistake.

comment on basics — my 24-week log, condensed into one table in c/newbiequestions · 49 points · 2 years ago

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.

Titration speed is a side-effect dial far more than an efficacy dial.

comment on [Meta] the below spec rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/labresults · 111 points · 2 years ago

inter-lab variance is real, 21 points is inside normal

permalink

comment on first time — my 6-week log, condensed into one table in c/newbiequestions · 1 points · 2 years ago

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 85 weeks to accept.
