[Question] the UK — has anyone got a straight answer on appetite return

Question Cold Box ×2 The Quiet One ×3

tapering. That is the whole post, but I will justify it.

Everything else people worry about in c/glp1eu is downstream of it. Titration speed, muscle cramps, the endless dose arguments — most of it resolves if you sort tapering out first, and almost nobody does.

I say this having got it wrong for 24 months. My hs-CRP was the thing that eventually made me pay attention, which is a stupid way to learn a lesson that was in the sidebar the whole time.

Strongly agree. The regain is expected.

My version of this: I was so worried about the injection that I put it off for eleven days. The injection is the easiest part.

This is correct. Discontinuation data is real.

Stalled for 10 weeks, changed nothing, and it started moving again on week 90.

Adding to this: interval stretching is doing more work than the comment implies.

Maintenance for 10 months now. Weight moves within about 3kg and the dose is a quarter of what it peaked at.

Disagree on that part. 97.9% and 97.6% on the same vial is normal.

say how long you were on and at what dose before taper

Yeah, regain is not a failure.

Tracking number removed. It identifies both ends of a shipment.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 24 weeks to accept.

Titration speed is a side-effect dial far more than an efficacy dial.

About c/tapering

Stopping on purpose: dose reduction versus interval stretching, what the discontinuation arms of STEP 1 and SURMOUNT-4 actually showed about regain, appetite return timelines, and the people who came off, regained, and went back on without treating it as a failure.
