[Discussion] appetite return is doing more work than we give it credit for

Discussion Well Actually ×8

Genuinely asking, not being difficult.

Everyone in c/bloodwork repeats that interval stretching is important. I believe it, but I have never seen anyone show why, and when I search I get 20 threads of people agreeing with each other.

Is there a paper? Is there a measurement? Or is this one of those things that is true because it has been repeated since 2023?

I am not trying to be the "source?" guy. I would just like a source.

Came off after 69 weeks for financial reasons. Regained about a third over the following year. Back on now at a much lower dose.

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

Yeah, regain is not a failure.

The practical rule people converge on is 28 days at fridge temperature after first puncture, and that comes from the preservative, not the peptide.

Week 69 for me and the honest summary is: 42kg down, nausea manageable, and I have thought about food maybe four times today.

About c/tapering

Stopping on purpose: dose reduction versus interval stretching, what the discontinuation arms of STEP 1 and SURMOUNT-4 actually showed about regain, appetite return timelines, and the people who came off, regained, and went back on without treating it as a failure.
