France: nausea, and what it actually costs here
Been lurking in c/progresspics for about 20 months and finally have something worth posting.
Short version: week 18, 0.5mg, and heart rate is the bit I still cannot get a straight answer on. I have read the wiki, I have read the last 33 threads, and the answers split roughly down the middle.
What I actually want to know is whether the people saying it does not matter have measured it, or whether it is just repeated confidently. Happy to be told I am overthinking this — I probably am — but I would rather overthink it now than at week 24.
best — the order this archive was captured in
Every time this gets posted it hits the front page and every time someone has to re-explain it.
Removed a chain here. The rule is one line long and it is not negotiable.
sulphur burps are disgusting but not dangerous, 12 weeks and they stopped
early fullness at 0.5mg is different from 12.5mg
ask your actual doctor, not us
Has anything else changed? Sleep, food, protein, anything?
Small correction: the trial was 9 weeks, not 20. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 13 weeks to accept.
Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.

Went to A&E convinced it was pancreatitis. Lipase normal. It was gallstones. Get checked, do not post and wait.
Small correction: the trial was 7 weeks, not 38. Does not change your point but people will quote it.
Yeah, the constipation hit on day 10 for me too, not day 1.
I love that this community will spend 40 comments on a detail. That pedantry is why the numbers here matter.
Mechanistically the bit that matters is reflux. It explains most of the early profile and a decent chunk of the outcome.
the reflux passes. i promise. not medical advice.
Same experience. Week 78 and it simply stopped. I know that is not useful information but it is what happened.
Mechanistically the bit that matters is reflux.
Adding to this: sulphur burps is doing more work than the comment implies.
Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.
week 95 and the the food-noise thing is finally getting better
Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.
resting heart rate moved up 7 bpm and settled back down when I stopped escalating
Yeah, the constipation hit on day 2 for me too, not day 1.
Not convinced.
Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 60 weeks to accept.
Yeah, the constipation hit on day 8 for me too, not day 1.
Yeah, the early fullness hit on day 13 for me too, not day 1.
