anyone else notice gallbladder kicking in around week 39

Question Long Haul ×4 Slow Clap ×3

Posting this because I searched for it and got nothing useful.

Setup: 15mg, week 40, constipation present but not ruining anything. I changed exactly one variable — sulphur burps — and tracked it for 9 weeks.

Result: a difference, but a small one, and well inside what I would call noise if someone else posted it. So I am putting it here rather than presenting it as a finding. If two or three other people have done the same thing we might actually learn something.

Not medical advice, obviously. This is one person with a spreadsheet.

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

hair loss is real and usually reversible when you stabilize

The fatigue passes. I kept a log and the timeline was the only useful thing. 14 weeks and it was basically gone.

sulphur burps are disgusting but not dangerous, 13 weeks and they stopped

Adding to this: heart rate is doing more work than the comment implies.

Strongly agree. Describe your dose, your week number, and your titration speed or nobody can help.

I love that this community will spend 40 comments on a detail. That pedantry is why the numbers here matter.

resting heart rate moved up 12 bpm and settled back down when I stopped escalating

Did the reflux start before or after the dose increase?

Same experience. Week 89 and it simply stopped. I know that is not useful information but it is what happened.

Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.

Every time this gets posted it hits the front page and every time someone has to re-explain it.

About c/sideeffects

Side-effect experience and management, with a strong bias toward the ones that are common and boring (nausea, constipation, reflux, fatigue, sulphur burps) and a hard line on the ones that are not (severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, jaundice, vision changes). This community is not a substitute for urgent care and the mods will say so bluntly.

  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
