the weekly dosing thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down
Confession thread, sort of.
I went from 1.0mg to 15mg much faster than I should have because the scale had stalled and I got impatient. The stall broke about 5 weeks later, at which point I had no way of knowing whether the dose increase did anything or whether it would have broken anyway.
So now I have early fullness I did not need and a data point I cannot interpret. Two lessons in one.
Posting it in the hope that somebody at week 80 reads it before doing the same thing.
best — the order this archive was captured in
Went up because the scale stalled, not because I needed to. Do not be me. The stall broke on its own at the higher dose.
my eGFR moved before the scale did and i nearly missed it
What colour is the pen? Wegovy and Ozempic use different formulations.
nope, 0.25 counts, it is just not the dose most people stay on
Removed a chain here. The rule is one line long and it is not negotiable.
Did anything else change in the same window? Sleep, protein, steps, anything?
okay but what dose of sema are you on
okay but what dose of sema are you on
Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
Ozempic versus Wegovy versus research grade is the wrong argument, they are literally the same molecule
the 2.4mg dose is not the target, it is just what the pen goes up to
This is what I tell everyone in c/newbiequestions and they never believe me until week 57.
