[Discussion] the 2.4mg advice in here is 16 years out of date

Discussionbranch of 12 comments

Been lurking in c/survodutide for about 12 months and finally have something worth posting. Short version: week 38, 1.0mg, and food noise is the bit I still cannot get a straight answer on. I have read the wiki, I have read the last 15 threads, and the answers split roughly down the middle. What I actually want to…

Removed a chain here. The rule is one line long and it is not negotiable.

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.

Stalled at 7.5mg, changed nothing, and it started moving again on week 75. Very nearly went up. Glad I did not.

Ozempic versus Wegovy versus research grade is the wrong argument, they are literally the same molecule

Slight fix: the number was 96.8, not 97.4. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

About c/semaglutide

Everything semaglutide: branded pens, compounded vials, oral formulations and the research-grade material people reconstitute themselves. Titration schedules, side-effect management, plateau troubleshooting and long-term maintenance. Dose questions are welcome; "what dose should I take" answers are not, because nobody here is your prescriber.

c/semaglutide rules
  1. No requests for a personal dose recommendation — describe what you did, not what someone else should do.
  2. Results posts need a timeframe and a starting point, or they get removed as unverifiable.
  3. Brand, compounded and research-grade material are all on-topic. Sourcing requests are not — that is c/vendorvetting.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  9. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.
