[Discussion] goal weight is doing more work than we give it credit for
Been lurking in c/compounding for about 18 months and finally have something worth posting.
Short version: week 81, 2.4mg, and dose stretching is the bit I still cannot get a straight answer on. I have read the wiki, I have read the last 27 threads, and the answers split roughly down the middle.
What I actually want to know is whether the people saying it does not matter have measured it, or whether it is just repeated confidently. Happy to be told I am overthinking this — I probably am — but I would rather overthink it now than at week 75.
best — the order this archive was captured in
Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.
Flair changed to match the content. Read the sidebar before posting next time and we are square.
food noise returns but not always immediately
lowest effective dose is dose stretching, find it or stay higher
regain after taper is expected, plan for it
Tried the lowest-effective approach. 7.5mg worked for 13 weeks, then cravings returned. 2.4mg was the actual floor.
Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.
the lowest dose you can stay on is not the lowest dose that works
Slight fix: the number was 97.2, not 97.4. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.
lowest effective dose is goal weight, find it or stay higher
Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with long term, not with what you concluded.
