three years of lowest effective dose threads, summarised so you do not have to read them
Something I noticed reading old threads that I have not seen said out loud. The advice on dose stretching in this community changed substantially around the start of last year, and nobody went back and updated the older posts. So depending on which thread the search engine hands you, you get two contradictory answers…
Tried the lowest-effective approach. 12.5mg worked for 11 weeks, then cravings returned. 7.5mg was the actual floor.
Regain on a taper is expected. 13% back over 32 weeks, which matches the discontinuation data. Planned for it.
the 1.0mg dose works fine for 78 weeks of the month
state how long you have been at maintenance, week 17 is not maintenance
the lowest dose you can stay on is not the lowest dose that works
the lowest dose you can stay on is not the lowest dose that works
Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
