[Question] regret — what am I missing here

Question

Confession thread, sort of.

I went from 1.0mg to 15mg much faster than I should have because the scale had stalled and I got impatient. The stall broke about 9 weeks later, at which point I had no way of knowing whether the dose increase did anything or whether it would have broken anyway.

So now I have muscle cramps I did not need and a data point I cannot interpret. Two lessons in one.

Posting it in the hope that somebody at week 8 reads it before doing the same thing.

How many weeks between the two measurements?

Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.

Second this question. I have wondered about stopped for 17 months and never seen a straight answer.

Second this question.

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

This is correct. Evidence still required.

You have restated the marketing copy. What is the actual substance here.

Adding to this: below spec is doing more work than the comment implies.

  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
