[Meta] the stopped rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining

Discussion Well Actually ×7 Sourced ×3

Been lurking in c/glp1aus for about 11 months and finally have something worth posting.

Short version: week 78, 10mg, and below spec is the bit I still cannot get a straight answer on. I have read the wiki, I have read the last 5 threads, and the answers split roughly down the middle.

What I actually want to know is whether the people saying it does not matter have measured it, or whether it is just repeated confidently. Happy to be told I am overthinking this — I probably am — but I would rather overthink it now than at week 72.

Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.

Stalled for 7 weeks, changed nothing, and it started moving again on week 81.

Tracking number removed. It identifies both ends of a shipment.

Slight fix: the number was 97.6, not 99.2. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

Tracking number removed.

Adding to this: what went wrong is doing more work than the comment implies.

What are you comparing it against though?

Three years on this site and the questions have not changed at all. Which is depressing or reassuring depending on the day.

Rodent data is rodent data. Dose scaling is not linear and the models tell you what to investigate, not what to expect.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 43 weeks to accept.

The confident tone is doing a lot of work that the evidence is not.

c/darkspot rules
  1. No piling on. Someone posting a mistake is doing the community a favour.
  2. Still evidence-based: what went wrong, when, and what you can show.
  3. No "told you so" comments. They are removed without discussion.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  9. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.
