baseline labs: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1
Been lurking in c/reconstitution for about 8 months and finally have something worth posting.
Short version: week 30, 7.5mg, and baseline labs is the bit I still cannot get a straight answer on. I have read the wiki, I have read the last 7 threads, and the answers split roughly down the middle.
What I actually want to know is whether the people saying it does not matter have measured it, or whether it is just repeated confidently. Happy to be told I am overthinking this — I probably am — but I would rather overthink it now than at week 36.
best — the order this archive was captured in
This is correct. ApoB is the better marker.
Is that fasted?

the 14 month eGFR check is the routine
Small correction: the trial was 19 weeks, not 13. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

Adding to this: lipids is doing more work than the comment implies.
ALT is where the fatty-liver story shows up first
I am going to push back on this slightly.
Yeah, baseline matters more than any later number.
nobody here can tell you what a result means for you
Yeah, baseline matters more than any later number.
Every time this gets posted it hits the front page and every time someone has to re-explain it.
Yeah, baseline matters more than any later number.
What are your reference ranges?
Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with eGFR, not with what you concluded.
the 11 month bloodwork check is the routine
eGFR noise on rapid loss is real. 23 week noise, 19 week trend. Do not panic at week 67.
