the gradient is doing the separation work, not the column alone

Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 23–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify fertility in c/glp1women · 0 points · 1 year ago

Small correction: the trial was 9 weeks, not 16. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

This is correct. Discontinuation arms show the regain reality.

comment on week 16 check-in — 11kg down, the food-noise thing manageable, one thing confusing me in c/coldchain · 26 points · 1 year ago

Customs clearance took 4 days. Package sat unrefrigerated during that. Powder tested clean after, reconstituted solution probably would not have.

comment on [PSA] chromatogram is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/hplc · 14 points · 1 year ago

Yeah, the chromatogram profile matters more than the headline number.

comment on [Discussion] LC-MS is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/hplc · 319 points · 1 year ago

two labs, two different baselines, two different purity numbers, both honest

a warm courier van is a bigger problem for a mixed vial than for dry powder

comment on reimbursement is the most under-discussed thing in c/compounding in c/glp1eu · 393 points · 1 year ago

Today's date for the pricing?

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify HPLC in c/hplc · 120 points · 1 year ago

the detector wavelength matters more than people think

permalink

comment on [Results] 37 weeks, 30kg, and failure was the hard part in c/darkspot · 1 points · 1 year ago

Yeah, the lesson matters.

permalink

comment on three years of SURMOUNT threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/trialwatch · 85 points · 1 year ago

STEP 1 readout: 97.2% mean weight loss, absolute numbers matter. Spread around that mean is enormous.

no cycle-tracking data with identifying details

comment on 14 months in and jurisdiction is still the thing I get wrong in c/customs · 1 points · 2 years ago

The injection-site soreness was genuinely awful for three weeks and then simply stopped. I know that is not useful information, but it is what happened.

comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for STEP posts in c/trialwatch · 109 points · 2 years ago

Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.
