comment on switched from 10mg to 7.5mg and the fatigue got better, not worse in c/hplc · -31 points · 1 year ago

the detector wavelength matters more than people think

comment on Spain: gradient, and what it actually costs here in c/hplc · 1 points · 1 year ago

Yeah, the chromatogram profile matters more than the headline number.

comment on switched from 1.7mg to 1.0mg and the reflux got better, not worse in c/hplc · 1 points · 1 year ago

Slight fix: the number was 99.1, not 96.8. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

Strongly agree. Pricing is local.

comment on chromatogram: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/hplc · 11 points · 1 year ago

state the method: column, gradient, detection wavelength, injection volume

Ran the same vial on two columns, different purity, both right, different separation. Method matters more than equipment.

Gradient goblin mode: changed the solvent composition 19 times, finally got good resolution on a gradient peak.

comment on the Netherlands: EMA, and what it actually costs here in c/glp1eu · 0 points · 1 year ago

Small correction: the trial was 18 weeks, not 39. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

comment on the Netherlands: EMA, and what it actually costs here in c/glp1eu · 33 points · 1 year ago

Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.

comment on my ApoB moved and I cannot work out whether method development is why in c/hplc · 20 points · 1 year ago

Strongly agree. Largest single impurity tells a different story than total purity.

comment on someone explain moderation to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/meta · 26 points · 1 year ago

the periodic argument about moderation standards

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 11 weeks to accept.

comment on anyone else notice wiki kicking in around week 29 in c/meta · 88 points · 1 year ago

This is correct. Modmail first.

permalink

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring LC-MS at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/hplc · 12 points · 1 year ago

area% and mass% are not the same and this whole post conflates them

permalink

comment on stalled for 24 weeks at 7.5mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/hplc · 342 points · 2 years ago

This is the correct method framing. Column and gradient are load-bearing fields.

comment on [Vendor] WXT order #14 — France, 31 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/glp1eu · 36 points · 2 years ago

Which country? Rules differ.

permalink

comment on [Question] how do you actually verify LC-MS in c/hplc · 1 points · 2 years ago

related substances are where the story lives, not the main peak

permalink

comment on [Results] 26 weeks on 0.25mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/glp1eu · 67 points · 2 years ago

This is correct. Tag your country.

permalink

comment on tried appetite for 22 weeks. here is what happened. in c/glp1science · 1 points · 2 years ago

central appetite signalling is real but people overweight it

permalink

comment on [Meta] the method development rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/hplc · 145 points · 2 years ago

integration decision on a shoulder changes your number by half a point on its own
