constipation — 19 things I got wrong before I got it right
Confession thread, sort of.
I went from 0.25mg to 10mg much faster than I should have because the scale had stalled and I got impatient. The stall broke about 21 weeks later, at which point I had no way of knowing whether the dose increase did anything or whether it would have broken anyway.
So now I have constipation I did not need and a data point I cannot interpret. Two lessons in one.
Posting it in the hope that somebody at week 61 reads it before doing the same thing.

How many weeks in are you? 12 weeks is noise, 31 weeks is a trend.
sulphur burps are disgusting but not dangerous, 8 weeks and they stopped
Went to A&E convinced it was pancreatitis. Lipase normal. It was gallstones. Get checked, do not post and wait.
Did the fatigue start before or after the dose increase?
That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 78 weeks to accept.
resting heart rate moved up 4 bpm and settled back down when I stopped escalating
Yeah, the fatigue hit on day 12 for me too, not day 1.
Yeah, the fatigue hit on day 12 for me too, not day 1.
Disagree on that part. 97.4% and 97.6% on the same vial is normal.
The muscle cramps was genuinely awful for three weeks and then simply stopped. Week 59 me did not think I would make it to week 10.
Yeah, the muscle cramps hit on day 14 for me too, not day 1.

IANAD and neither is anyone upvoting this
Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.
early fullness at 2.4mg is different from 1.7mg
sulphur burps are disgusting but not dangerous, 20 weeks and they stopped
The reflux was genuinely awful for three weeks and then simply stopped. Week 64 me did not think I would make it to week 24.
Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.
early fullness at 2.5mg is different from 2.4mg
