what would you tell week-1 you about USDC
Confession thread, sort of.
I went from 7.5mg to 2.4mg much faster than I should have because the scale had stalled and I got impatient. The stall broke about 15 weeks later, at which point I had no way of knowing whether the dose increase did anything or whether it would have broken anyway.
So now I have sulphur burps I did not need and a data point I cannot interpret. Two lessons in one.
Posting it in the hope that somebody at week 88 reads it before doing the same thing.

Yeah, the network selection matters most.
The discount was 98.4% but gas ate half of it. Still worth it but the math matters.
memo/tag requirements differ by network
Removed a chain here. The rule is one line long and it is not negotiable.
The discount was 99.3% but gas ate half of it. Still worth it but the math matters.
I love that this community will spend 40 comments on a detail. That pedantry is why the numbers here matter.
Strongly agree. Escrow is non-negotiable for groups.
escrow for group buys is standard, use it
network selection matters, wrong chain is the expensive typo
gas versus discount arithmetic is real

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
USDC exists on 2 networks, vendor credits are network-specific
This is correct. Gas fees are real costs.
