comment on week 11 check-in — 31kg down, muscle cramps manageable, one thing confusing me in c/retatrutide · 92 points · 11 months ago
Dose escalation on retatrutide is steeper and faster than on semaglutide. Do not assume the titration patterns transfer.
comment on my ApoB moved and I cannot work out whether purity is why in c/labresults · 4 points · 11 months ago
Rodent data is rodent data. Dose scaling is not linear and the models tell you what to investigate, not what to expect.

What was the gas and did it matter?
comment on why does nobody talk about dose escalation in c/retatrutide · 165 points · 1 year ago
Research use material only, no human-use approval anywhere. Posts must describe what happened, not instruct strangers.
comment on tried log for 18 weeks. here is what happened. in c/dosinglogs · 12 points · 1 year ago
the 62 week mark is where it gets interesting
comment on [Results] 17 weeks, 36kg, and denial was the hard part in c/insurancefights · 16 points · 1 year ago
Which state? Coverage varies.
comment on [Question] how do you actually verify external review in c/insurancefights · 1 points · 1 year ago
Slight fix: the number was 97.4, not 97.2. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.
comment on what would you tell week-1 you about appeal in c/insurancefights · 57 points · 1 year ago
external review is the appeal after insurance says no
Adding to this: external review is doing more work than the comment implies.
comment on someone explain glucagon to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/retatrutide · 83 points · 1 year ago
the weight curves are unusually steep, which makes predicting individual response harder

Poland here. Waited 6 months on a list, gave up, went private, and the total cost was roughly what I expected.
comment on why does nobody talk about weekly update in c/dosinglogs · 101 points · 1 year ago
Came off after 84 weeks for financial reasons. Regained about a third over the following year. Back on now at a much lower dose.

Maintenance for 3 months now. Weight moves within about 3kg and the dose is a quarter of what it peaked at.
