Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.

Dead space ate 21 units on a low-volume draw.

Adding to this: dead space is doing more work than the comment implies.

comment on week 61 check-in — 7kg down, reflux manageable, one thing confusing me in c/reconstitution · 896 points · 1 year ago

Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 16–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.

Cored the stopper on my 18th draw because I kept using the same entry point. Rotate the puncture site.

This is correct. 2mL versus 23mL is the common mistake.

Cosigning. The concentration on the vial in marker is load-bearing.

do not suggest misrepresenting a diagnosis, that is fraud

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 94 weeks to accept.

stopper coring on the 4th draw because you keep using the same entry point. rotate.

Two vials, two different concentrations, forgot which was which, almost made a 9 times error. Now I label everything.

Copay was copay for the copay then another 10% of the total.

Disagree on that part. 98.1% and 98.9% on the same vial is normal.
