three years of TGA threads, summarised so you do not have to read them
Long-ish post, sorry. tl;dr at the bottom.
I have been tracking PBS against ApoB for 33 weeks because I could not find anyone who had. The correlation is weaker than I expected, which is itself mildly interesting given how confidently people link the two in here.
Caveats up front: one person, one lab, one assay, no control, and I changed my training in the middle of it, which was stupid.
tl;dr: probably real, definitely smaller than the threads imply, and not worth reorganising your week around.
best — the order this archive was captured in
Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.
unfunded-means-full-price is the NZ reality
Slight fix: the number was 99.0, not 98.9. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.
What is the PBS status?
the 2024 compounding rule change closed a major route overnight
This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.
Tracking number removed. It identifies both ends of a shipment.
Yeah, the 2024 rule change was sudden.

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.
Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.
the the UK versus the UK distinction is real
the the UK versus the UK distinction is real
Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
Sceptical.
